I loved this book. Florence has her issues including two step-sisters and a step-mother who think it is about time she had a boyfriend. The step-mother sends her off to a crackpot love coach, who makes her write a list of all the attributes she wants in a man.

The process seems to work. Just a few days later, Rory, who ticks most of the boxes, walks into the bookshop where Florence works and asks her out.

But just because he’s good on paper, and good in bed, doesn’t necessarily make him the perfect boyfriend. Could the best love come from the most unlikely person?

This book was funny with a lot of wit. It was lovely to see Florence come out of her shell and find her confidence. The supporting characters where also well formed.

This is a perfect rom-com and I’ll definitely be checking out other books by Sophia Money-Coutts.
